About Laura Grossman, lmft

Creating the safe space you deserve through a multi-disciplinary approach

Hey there! I'm Laura, a Queer psychotherapist and proud dog mom living in Oakland, CA. I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Florida and an M.S. in Counseling from California State University East Bay. But while my education is tantamount to my practice, what I draw from most frequently is my own transformative journey through personal therapy.

Through therapy I've explored and embraced parts of myself I never thought I would, and I've learned to connect to my mind and body in incredible ways. These experiences have guided me to create a therapeutic approach that's all about empowerment, joy, and liberation. With more than ten years of experience, I've had the privilege of helping children, families, couples, and individual adults to navigate their therapeutic experiences and foster deep, nourishing connections with themselves and others.
